Step-1: Obtain the NTSE-2019 Application Form
NTSE Aspirants can download the NTSE 2019 application form from the official website of NTSE or can obtain it from the liaison officer of their state. Use Legal size paper i.e. (8.5” x 14”) for taking a print.
Step-2: Filling up the application form
Candidates have to fill up the application form in their own handwriting as per the instructions and affix their black and white passport sized photograph along with signature at the space provided on the application form.
Make sure that the completed application form must be signed by the Principal of school (Head of the institution). The candidate, as well as the Principal, must adhere to the last date of submission of the application form.
Step-3: Payment of the Application Fee
The candidate / Principal must deposit the application fee, if any, prescribed by state/union territory with the application form.
Students / Principal will be required to remit the application fee, if any, prescribed by the state or union territory exam conducting body. You can find out the fee charged for Stage-I Examination, mode of payment and other such information from the State Liaison Officer of your respective state.
Step-4: Submission of Application Form
This completed application form needs to be submitted in the offline mode at the official address of the liaison officer. Before submitting the form, aspirants must ensure the NTSE application form 2018 has been filled and attached properly with required documents as per the instructions only. Aspirants can either submit the NTSE 2019 application form through speed post/registered post or can also submit it at the official address by visiting the liaison office in person. Do mention the name of the state or Union Territory, where the candidate wants to appear for the NTSE, on the covering letter.
No application should be sent to NCERT.
However, the Indian Students who are Studying Abroad should forward this application form to NCERT along with their Class IX Mark-sheet.
