How To Prepare For NTSE 2019-20?

NTSE is the National level scholarship program by Govt. of India and most venerated exam of India. For becoming an NTSE scholar, these are the latest tips for NTSE 2019-20 :

Thorough Planning Along With Consistency

For NTSE, you need to have thorough planning along with consistency. Prepare a timetable and distribute all the topics accordingly. Do not focus only on SAT section, since MAT section has equal weightage.

Equal Importance To All Subjects

You need to study your NCERT and State Board books of Mathematics, Science & Social Science of class VIII, IX and X in-depth. But to clear SAT section with the high score you need to practice for objective questions more and more with proper study material i.e. specifically made for NTSE SAT. Students sometimes ignore Social Science and focus on Mathematics and Science only, but students should keep in mind that Social Science is a very scoring subject, so give equal importance to it as well.

Practice For MAT Section

For clearing MAT section, you have to practice each and every topic, don’t leave a single topic. Allot preparation time for each topic like- Clocks and Calendar, Cube and Dice, Incomplete Figures, etc. You should practice as many questions as you can, in the given time of all varieties. For MAT preparation, there are lot of books available in the market and all those books are also used to prepare for Banking exams, CAT, and other competitive exams. So, to select which one will be accurate for NTSE is very confusing and difficult i.e. when NTSE Guru test series is designed in a way that will help students to manage time during exams. will come to your rescue because it has specific questions for NTSE-MAT.

Proper Time Management

You will need an effective approach with proper time management.  To gain the quality of proper time management, you need to solve lot of previous year question papers and NTSE sample papers. Constantly practising these will give you confidence and inspire you to study more. It will improve your accuracy and impact your confidence to crack NTSE.

Proper Guidance

When you are preparing for a national level exam, you need proper guidance and support. NTSE examination is conducted in two stages, NTSE Stage I and NTSE Stage II. For instance, if there are 2350 seats for NTSE Stage I, to fight for those 2350 seats you have to compete with lakhs of students. If you are one of those who qualified Stage I, then for next stage i.e. NTSE Stage II you will have to be the ‘Best of the best’. So you understand my point that, to crack both stages of NTSE examination you definitely need guidance from experts who have an established name like NTSE Guru having a record of 600+ NTSE scholars.

Hopefully, these tips will help you to conquer NTSE 2019-20. All the Best.
