Vandan Bhuva, who topped NTSE Stage 1, 2019 in Gujarat, talks on how his hard work helped him to achieve it. NTSE is one of the most difficult national level scholarship exam for students. He smilingly said, my efforts given result only because of NTSEGURU.
Q1. Congratulations Vandan!! Have you expected that you will be Gujarat NTSE topper?
I believe doing hard work so I have done that with full dedication. My parents and faculties always expected good results from me and I have fulfilled their expectations by doing hard work.
Q2. When exactly you started preparing for NTSE?
I started preparing for NTSE from class VIII. I can say I am proud to be an NTSEGuru Subscriber. After joining NTSE Guru I never have to get bothered for NTSE study material, sample papers, previous year papers & practice sheets as NTSE Guru offers all this stuff at a single portal for NTSE preparation.
Q3. How many hours did you study daily?
Initially, I studied for 1 to 2 hours a day when I was in VIII standard. Then, later on, I increased my study hours. I studied 5 to 6 hours daily specifically for NTSE Examination.
Q4. Who was your favorite mentor during NTSE preparation?
During my NTSE preparation, all the mentors were my favorite. But, if I have to select the most favorite one I will go for Vipin Sir. His Social Science video lectures are AWESOME. His way of teaching can develop anyone’s interest in Social Science. According to sir, Social Science is the most scoring subject for NTSE. It is really true as it helped me to crack NTSE.
Q5. How did you felt after becoming Gujarat Topper?
I am very happy to secure the first rank in Gujarat in the prestigious exam NTSE. After a lot of hard work when finally reach your goal, it is a moment of immense pleasure and relaxation.
Q6. Which factors helped you to succeed in NTSE?
There are various factors, I can’t say alone one factor helped me to succeed. One of the most important factors is Time Management. I was able to manage time during my NTSE examination because I practiced NTSEGuru’s All India Test Series and NTSE Sample papers in the final preparation stage. This helped me a lot in ensuring grip over time during NTSE preparation. Another one is dedication & hard work, my father always says – Dedication & Hard work is the weapon to be successful.
Q7. How did you manage NTSE and boards simultaneously?
I have prepared for both simultaneously; I have managed them by distributing my time for NTSE and boards.
Q8. What is your advice for future NTSE aspirants?
Select a good mentor and have blind faith in him/her. One should not worry from whichever background one belongs. You can achieve anything in life if you dedicate yourself with honesty. To achieve big things in life, you have to take tough decisions. All the Best!!!
