Office of Director of Government Examination has announced the date of State level NTSE registration. NTSE Stage 1 will be conducted on 3 November 2019 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM for paper I (MAT) and from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM for Paper II (SAT) in English, Hindi, Urdu, and Telugu. This exam is conducted to select students from Andhra Pradesh who will be competing for the scholarship in the National level examination.
All the students studying in Class X of any recognized school in Andhra Pradesh are eligible to write NTSE Stage 1 exam.
The Examination will be conducted in two sessions:
Mental Ability Test, which will be conducted in the morning session from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The paper comprises of 100 questions which deal with Student’s reasoning capability and ability to discriminate, differentiate, and visualize, etc.
Scholastic Ability Test, which will be conducted in the afternoon session from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The paper consists of 100 questions from Science, Mathematics, and Social Science.

There is no prescribed syllabus. However, the paper shall consist of question from Class X level.
Application forms for NTSE Stage I Andhra Pradesh are available on Official website of Directorate of Government Examinations. The examination fee is Rs. 200/- per candidate. The fee has to be paid through AP CFMS which will be generated after the submission of the online application form.
